El viernes 4 de octubre, Olimpiadas Especiales estuvo en la 4a versión del New Balance Finals, una de las competencias escolares más importantes a nivel internacional.
28 atletas de Olimpiadas Especiales se sumaron a cerca de 2 mil deportistas escolares de todo Chile y de Colombia, Perú, Paraguay, Brasil, Argentina, Panamá y Costa Rica.
En la categoría inclusión, Gabriel Sobra y Javiera Saldaña se llevaron el primer lugar de 100 metros planos. Javiera repitió oro en salto largo junto a Daniel Palacios. En la posta 4x100 NB Dream, el primer puesto fue para el equipo de Javiera Saldaña y Juan Beltrán (de Olimpiadas Especiales) junto a Berdine Castillo y Antonio Pereira (del Team New Balance):
Además, en el stand de Olimpiadas Especiales tuvimos juegos y actividades para que más personas pudieran conocer un poco más sobre la organización y claro, sobre el deporte inclusivo y la discapacidad intelectual.
